Ronald Launius
Hello Bob:
Great book. I throughly enjoyed reading it. That should be obvious to you from the fact that once I started, couldn't put it down. You really should follow up with more stories.
As I read along, in the back of my mind I kept thinking that at some point, they would get the bad news that the coins belonged to the Shawnee Bank, or it's legal descendants. I figured the government would figure out some way to get their hands on the money as well. But you explained all of that very well. Way to go.
It was a great story. Well done.
Thank you for remembering me. In my blurb at the St. Louis book club forum, I mentioned that this was one of the pleasures from my simple hobby of postcard collecting. I have met interesting people from all over the world. You being counted among them.
Please keep in touch and let me know of future developments.
Your friend over in Missouri.
Ronnie Carl.

Loved the blend of fiction and the author's family history and found the accompanying photos quite interesting. Also loved the underlying tension which kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for one of those who were confided in and trusted by the main character to betray him. I found it to be a good read and hope the author continues the adventure.
